THE TOILET TANK

Remove small objects and clutter on toilet tanks that could fall in and cause clogs.

THE TOILET SHUT-OFF

Locate and learn how to use the water shut-off valve under the toilet tank in case of an emergency. Don’t forget to test it out.

THE BATHROOM GARBAGE

Empty your bathroom garbage and place it in a visible, accessible location so nothing other than toilet paper goes in the toilet.

THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL

If you have a garbage disposal, don’t overload it with leftovers, which could lead to a clogged kitchen sink. No chicken wing bones or celery stalks!

THE KITCHEN DRAIN

Avoid pouring fat, oil and grease down the drain. (We're looking at you chicken wing containers.)

Follow those basic tips, and maybe you'll spare yourself some late-night headache after the party is over and you've just declared, "That was the best Super Bowl Party EVER!" You'll quickly take those words back when your utility sink is backing up, or your toilet won't flush.
