We have our feelings about our competitors in the area (hey, we're entitled!). Some we readily team up with on large commercial jobs, but others seem to always botch the job. How do we know? We are the guys you call to do the dirty work. Some of our technicians even worked for these companies, but they left out of frustration and a desire to do things the right way.
One of the worst companies focuses on upselling. Upselling is a sales technique where a seller induces the customer to purchase more expensive items, upgrades or other add-ons in an attempt to make a more profitable sale. We are not sales guys! We are technicians. We repair and install based on the best decision for you!
And then there are the "handymen". You want to save a buck. And a friend of a friend knows a guy who knows somebody who might be able to help you and save you a little money. They come in and patch you up. Maybe. Or maybe they make things much, much worse and your price tag now includes new piping, flooring, carpentry, plaster and painting.
